MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) v3.1.1 has just been made an ISO standard!
OASIS, a nonprofit consortium that drives the development, convergence and adoption of open standards for the global information society, has announced that this key IoT protocol (MQTT 3.1.1) has now become an ISO / IEC standard (ISO is the International Organization for Standardization and IEC is the International Electrotechnical Commission). Ballot for the ISO/IEC 20922 was closed with 100% approval by ISO/IEC.
