Speaker Bio

Alison Zimpfer is the Smart Building IoT Solutions Executive at Siemens SI, responsible for establishing strategic relationships and providing enhanced smart building solutions for partners and customers. Alison is an energy code expert, focused mainly on Title 24 and ASHRAE 90.1. She is a LEED Green Associate and also holds a certification from NALMCO as a Certified Lighting Controls Professional. She has 10 years of experience in the lighting industry focused on design, commissioning, project management and engineering IoT solutions using lighting as the primary vehicle. Prior to joining Siemens, Alison worked at Energy Management Collaborative as a Systems Engineer where she was responsible for designing and commissioning various IoT and lighting control platforms for several national retailers.
Alison holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
