I am a Distinguished Engineer in Artificial Intelligence with Optum Healthcare. I have a background in metadata, semantics, Natural Language Processing (NLP) and NoSQL (Not only SQL). My current focus in building Knowledge Graphs for integrated patient records.

The primary patterns I used are graph and document databases with semantic enrichment services. I draw from my work in solution architecture, enterprise data architecture, enterprise data strategy and objective database architecture selection. I am the co-author of the highly rated book “Making Sense of NoSQL” and co-founder of the “NoSQL Now!” conference.
