Sean Horan’s responsibilities include the successful product launch and enterprise sales of embedded IOT products with OptConnect in North America.

He has more than 15 years of M2M/IOT sales, business development, and product management experience.

Prior to joining OptConnect, Sean was a Sales Director with Sigfox and lead a sales team of IOT LPWAN Sales Managers in North America selling solutions into multiple IOT verticals. Additionally, Sean was a Sales Manager with AT&T IOT Solutions and lead a team of M2M vertical solution business development specialists located across the US, EMEA, and APAC regions. Also, Sean served as a Business Development Manager for Cinterion Wireless Modules (now Gemalto) with M2M wireless module portfolio sales in the Central US and Mexico.

Prior to Cinterion (now Gemalto), Sean served as Product Manager for ATX Group (now Sirius/XM Telematics) a leading automotive OEM Telematics Service provider. In this role, Sean was responsible for a portfolio of Telematics Products and Services including Safety & Security, Dealer Services, and other remote vehicle Telematics services for leading global automotive OEM brands.

Sean holds a BS from Brigham Young University and an MBA from The University of Texas at Dallas. He is married with four children and resides in Salt Lake City, UT, USA.
